I like poems. Especially well written ones that are meaningful and thought provoking. Here's one that I wrote back in 2004..

Eyes of My Heart, Voice of My Mind

Thoughts remain unspoken, swirling in the sea of hope,
Breaking against the shores
Of reason and doubt.
A hope that should never exists,
Making its tide known.
A surge of strong emotions,
Struggling to speak out.
How did this soul flap this way?
What gives her the beauty unseen?
Charm and beauty are only temporary,
But a glimpse of the heart evokes admiration,
For the affection within pulls strongly
From the gaze of the eyes to words spoken
Without persuasion, action without seduction.
Only a selfless and childlike innocence,
Courage, and love will soon find its door.
Soon, the yearning affection will finally be spoken.
